Welcome

The European Medical Group Consortium is an international initiative uniting hospitals, surgeons, and healthcare partners across Africa, South America, Europe, and beyond.

Our mission is to fight preventable blindness in less fortunate countries, where overwhelming patient waiting lists often stand between individuals and the gift of sight.

We believe that everyone deserves access to eye care, education, and modern technologies — regardless of geography or financial means.

About Us

The Consortium was founded by a network that includes hospitals and surgeons committed to restoring sight and advancing global eye health.

We are coordinated by Lacory, a registered company in Estonia that provides the organizational and administrative backbone of our work.

Our activities combine both commercial projects and humanitarian initiatives:

Commercial Projects

  • Distribution of corneal tissue and eye care technologies.
  • Development of logistics and medical partnerships worldwide.
  • Introduction of innovative devices and solutions for ophthalmology.

Humanitarian Projects

  • Organizing free or low-cost surgical events in underserved regions.
  • Supporting training and education for surgeons and medical staff.
  • Donating equipment and making modern technologies available.
  • Collaborating with governments, NGOs, and international eye banks.

How We Work

The Consortium operates as a collaborative platform

  • Lacory (Estonia) serves as the coordinator.
  • Eye Banks across the world contribute medical expertise and access to corneal tissue.
  • Hospitals, surgeons, and NGOs worldwide participate as members, sharing knowledge and resources.

While Lacory is a private company, the Consortium’s activities are humanitarian in purpose, with revenue from commercial projects helping to support free medical missions and educational events.

Projects & Activities

  • International distribution of corneal tissue for transplant.
  • Training workshops for ophthalmologists in developing regions.
  • Donation of surgical devices to hospitals with limited resources.
  • Collaborative blindness-prevention campaigns with global partners.

Get Involved

We welcome new partners — hospitals, surgeons, NGOs, and government institutions — who share our vision of eliminating avoidable blindness.
