The European Medical Group Consortium is an international initiative uniting hospitals, surgeons, and healthcare partners across Africa, South America, Europe, and beyond.
Our mission is to fight preventable blindness in less fortunate countries, where overwhelming patient waiting lists often stand between individuals and the gift of sight.
We believe that everyone deserves access to eye care, education, and modern technologies — regardless of geography or financial means.
The Consortium was founded by a network that includes hospitals and surgeons committed to restoring sight and advancing global eye health.
We are coordinated by Lacory, a registered company in Estonia that provides the organizational and administrative backbone of our work.
Our activities combine both commercial projects and humanitarian initiatives:
Reduce waiting lists for corneal transplants and restore sight for patients in need.
Partner with global initiatives and eye banks to deliver life-changing care.
Make new medical technologies and devices available to doctors and hospitals.
Provide opportunities for surgeons and medical staff to expand their knowledge.
While Lacory is a private company, the Consortium’s activities are humanitarian in purpose, with revenue from commercial projects helping to support free medical missions and educational events.
We welcome new partners — hospitals, surgeons, NGOs, and government institutions — who share our vision of eliminating avoidable blindness.
